Sewing Machine Repair

Gentler Times has an on-site Service Department staffed with a Technician with over 20 plus years of experience servicing and repairing all brands of sewing, embroidery, and quilting machines.  Our Technician is also experienced in getting that overlocker up and running smoothly too!  Stop by during our normal business hours for a free estimate on any repairs you might need.  We take all brands of machines in as trade-ins even if the machine is not working!

 Longarm Quilting

Gentler Times specializes in helping our customers select a decorative design to compliment their quilt tops when longarming.  We use quilting machines that were computer driven and can accomplish edge to edge stitching.   If you are creative and would like to draw the quilting design yourself, just send to us a digital photo in jpeg format from your phone for us to digitize.  Simple and Easy.  Fun too!  Stop by anytime for a free estimate on having your quilt top quilted by the experts in our Store.  If you happen to forgot your batting, don’t worry, we have some for you to choose from for purchase.  When utilizing our longarm services, we offer discounts on batting and backing fabrics.

Monogramming

Monograming is fun and easy!   Gentler Times would be happy to help you personalize any item from a gift bag to warm comfy boots.   Due to the nature of threads and the embroidery design chosen, there could be limitations on size and/or target area.  Stop by for a free estimate.

Scissor Sharpening

Do you have a dull pair of scissors?  Gentler Times can restore your textile scissors to their original sharpness or better.  Be sure to bring them in on your next visit to Gentler Times or when dropping off your machine for service.  We will have your scissors ready when you return to pickup your machine.
